In a remarkable display of unity and dedication, the Pakistani Blood Donors Association, known as PAK Donors, hosted a successful blood donation drive on International Thalassemia Day in Kuwait. This event underscored the crucial role of community participation in the fight against thalassemia. Over 180 individuals participated, contributing to a cause that goes beyond borders and ethnicities. This post delves into the significance of the event, the impact of their ongoing efforts, and the life-changing power of each blood donation.

On January 13th, 2023, PAK Donors, a non-profit organization, successfully hosted its 20th blood donation drive at the Kuwait Central Blood Bank in Al Jabriya. The drive aimed to raise awareness about blood cancer and encourage blood donation, with 210 donors participating. The event received support from the Ambassador of Pakistan to Kuwait, H.E Malik Muhammad Farooq and was sponsored by Zain, Narco Engineering Consultants and Combined Tafaoul Trading & Contracting Co.

Platelets are important cells that help the body to clot blood and stop bleeding. Platelet disorders, including low and high platelet counts, can have serious consequences. Donating platelets through apheresis can help to save lives and make a difference for those in need.

PAK Donors conducted 18th Blood Donation Drive to promote awareness about Thalassemia. The drive insisted "Donate blood to save a Child".
